First Visit to Faith?
We are so excited you could come! Please connect with a staff member or Sunday School teacher so that we can get your family's contact information and direct you to the correct classroom.
We take your child's safety and well being seriously. Please see our Safe Church policy or reach our to our staff with any questions.
Monthly Schedule
On the first Sunday of each month, we suspend Sunday school so that the whole family can worship together. Research shows that a child’s ability to develop a life-changing faith and relationship with God increases dramatically when they get to see faith modeled and lived out by older adults, especially their parents.
The third Sunday of the month, (also known as our Missions Sunday) after the children’s moment, the children go out of the sanctuary and up the stairs to the Talbert building for a special service project. Sometimes we pack lunches for the poor and homeless and sometimes we create “go-bags” full of snacks and basic necessities for the homeless we see around town. Whatever we do that particular month, we find ways to creatively help children experience what it’s like to love God by loving others.Deep Blue
On every other Sunday, we have “traditional Sunday school” in classrooms broken up by school grade. We are using Deep Blue kids curriculum on Sunday mornings in our classes. This is a new exciting curriculum that includes adventures, exciting stories, science experiments, art, animated video storytelling and active games. Learning how to read and use the bible is a center point of our teaching and all our efforts in Sunday school.
Getting Kids involved in Worship!
Children and youth can participate as acolytes or communion servers.Acolytes help prepare us for worship by lighting the alter candles. Our 4th and 5th-grade students can help serve communion on the first Sunday of each month.
