Holy Week includes several special services that tell the story leading up to Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Discover our Holy Week schedule and what the services are all about below!
April 10 at 9:30 a.m. (Faith Church and online)
On Palm Sunday, we remember when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey being hailed with cries of "Hosanna!" It was a mountain-top moment that began a series of events leading to crucifixion and resurrection.
In addition to a celebration with palms, this particular service will also end with a reading of the Passion, which describes the later events of Jesus arrest and death.
Stations of the Cross
Friday, April 15, at 12:00 p.m. (Sammamish Commons)
Join members of other Plateau churches to celebrate Good Friday with the ritual of the Stations of the Cross!
April 15 at 6:30 p.m. (Faith Church and online)
Traditionally, a Good Friday service will follow Jesus' story through his arrest, trial, crucifixion, and death. This year's service will follow a Tenebrae format to tell the story with scriptures, musical responses, the stripping of the altar, and candle-snuffing. Expect a somber, meditative mood.
All services are in person.
6:30 a.m. at Beaver Lake Pavilion
Our Easter sunrise service will be outdoors in Beaver Lake Park. This is an informal, unplugged worship service remembering the early-morning revelation that "Jesus is alive!"
9:30 a.m. at Faith Church (also live-streamed on Facebook)
Join us either in person or online for this festive celebration of Jesus' resurrection! The worship service will include special music and lots of "Hallelujahs"!
11:00 a.m. at Faith Church
Join us in person for this festive celebration of Jesus' resurrection! This worship service will be the same as 9:30, but will also include a children's choir.
