The 2022 giving tree

The Season of giving is upon us and soon you will see the Faith Giving Tree in our Narthex again, after a two-year absence due to COVID. This has been an annual tradition for our church for many years. This year Faith Church will support children served by Atlantic Street Center, the youth of Echo Glen Children’s Center, and adults in Tent City 4.

Instructions

  1. Take a tag from the Giving Tree in the Lobby on Sundays, November 20 & 27.
  2. Buy the item indicated on the tag.
  3. Bring the gift UNWRAPPED and tagged on Sunday, December 4, and place it under the Giving Tree.

Gifts will be delivered to organizations by members of the Missions Team.

Organizations we're supporting

  • Atlantic street center

Atlantic Street Center is a non-profit agency in Seattle serving King County. They provide services of education, family support, and behavioral health counseling to low-income and underserved populations. Faith has annually supported their holiday store and participated in Day of Service activities. Gifts from the Giving Tree will support children and families in their Kinship Care program and gender-based violence program.

  • echo glen children's center

Echo Glen Children's Center is a juvenile detention center in Snoqualmie and offers educational and rehabilitation services for teens. Faith Church has annually supported this group with Valentine's Day card and holiday gifts through the Friends of Echo Glen, a non-profit volunteer organization providing support to teens in detention.

  • Tent city 4

Tent City 4 is an Eastside homeless encampment that our Church has previously hosted twice. The group is currently staying at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish. Grab a tag from the Giving Tree to provide supplies to the adults living at the encampment.
