UMCOR
This is one of the very best ways to express your care and compassion for those in need following crises of many kinds.
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the not-for-profit global humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church. UMCOR is working in more than 80 countries worldwide, including the United States. Our mission, grounded in the teachings of Jesus, is to alleviate human suffering—whether caused by war, conflict or natural disaster, with open hearts and minds to all people.
UMCOR responds to natural or civil disasters that are interruptions of such magnitude that they overwhelm a community’s ability to recover on its own.

Days for Girls
What if not having sanitary supplies meant DAYS without school? Days of isolation? Girls use leaves, mattress stuffing, newspaper, corn husks, rocks, —anything they can find—but still miss up to two months of education and opportunity every year. It turns out this issue is a surprising but instrumental key to social change for women all over the world.
"Days for Girls increases access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating social enterprises, mobilizing volunteers, and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigmas and limitations for women and girls. Together, we're creating a world with dignity, health, and opportunity for all."
A group of women at Faith Church supports the mission of Days for Girls through fundraising and making menstrual hygiene kits that will be distributed to girls and women all over the world.
