What to Expect on Sunday

Stepping into a new church can be intimidating at times, so here's some info to help you plan your visit.

In the parking lot

  • The entrance to our parking lot is on SE 37th Pl, and it goes up the hill on the right in a one-way loop. There are designated parking spots for visitors near the main entrance, as well as spots for those with limited mobility.
  • The greeters at the front door will greet you with a smile and can answer any initial questions you may have, or at least point you in the right direction. They also have a stash of umbrellas handy for particularly rainy days.

In the Lobby

  • When you enter the Lobby, you'll see the coffee station close to the sanctuary entrance. Feel free to bring your own coffee tumblers with lids inside. Disposable cups with lids are provided.
  • After the service, there will be cookies and snacks available at the kitchen pass-through.
  • Infants and toddlers are welcome to attend church in the sanctuary, or if parents prefer, nursery care is available at both services. Connect with Children's Ministry staff or volunteers at the CYFM counter inside the main entrance on the right.

In the sanctuary

  • Hearing assist devices are available for anyone hard of hearing. Ask an usher when you enter the sanctuary.
  • There is no dress code for worship; just come as you are. A lot of people wear jeans, but dresses and ties aren't uncommon. Just know that you will not be judged for your attire.
  • We have communion during the service every Sunday. Gluten-free elements are always available. Communion servers wear masks, and if you are uncomfortable sharing a common cup, there are individually wrapped servings as well.

Music & Choir

Led by Emily Cowgill, our music program offers opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Sunday mornings blend traditional and contemporary music using a variety of instruments. Beyond Sunday, our musicians participate in special services, fellowship events, and outreach programs in the community.

If you would like to be involved in music at Faith Church, contact Emily Cowgill to get started! We are always looking for singers and musicians that can lead us into the worship of God.

Music rehearsals are on Tuesdays in the sanctuary.
Choir: 7:00–8:00 pm
Band: 8:00–9:00 pm
